You will be in Drôme Provençe, in the ‘Midi’. Here the climate is Mediterranean, with blue skies and exceptionally clear air. There are fields of lavender and vineyards to complete the scenery. Take time to be mix with the local people, in a region known for its welcome, and respect for nature. Each week there are colourful markets, to appreciate local accents, colours and perfumes. The vines and fields of lavender are often surrounded by forests of Truffle oaks, where the famous ‘black diamonds’ can be found. Visit charming villages, with their stone-built houses and coloured shutters, to discover traditional artisans, unique heritage, quality gastronomy, and sample the wines of the ‘Côte du Rhône’ and ‘Tricastin’. Some of the more well known villages include; Grignan, La Garde Adhémar, Le Poet-Laval, Montbrun-les-Bains, Nyons, Dieulefit, Suze-la-Rousse, Aulan, St. Paul Trois Châteaux.
